Janice Marks

Janice Marks is a Certified Pilates Instructor at Excel Pilates DC since May 2017 and has served as Co-chair and Board Member of the Board of Directors at Dance Place since 2016. With extensive experience in nonprofit consulting, Janice was the Principal at High Marks Consulting from April 2013 to May 2017, focusing on building sustainable organizations, and previously worked as Director of Development at both the American Architectural Foundation and Corcoran College of Art + Design. Janice has held various development and leadership roles in notable organizations, including Associate Director at the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Director of Development at the National Council for Traditional Arts. Janice holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Temple University, with prior studies at the University of Pittsburgh and Phila. HS for Girls.
