Anders Bastholm

Anders Bastholm currently serves as Country Director at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (DanChurchAid) since August 2021. Previous roles include Programme & Learning Manager / Senior Adviser for Access to Justice & Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark from April 2020 to July 2021, and a series of positions at the Danish Refugee Council from December 2010 to March 2020, culminating as Programme Quality Assurance Manager for Uganda. Anders has also worked as a Travel Guide in Uganda and Rwanda, and held various academic positions as a Lecturer in African Studies and Human Geography at the University of Copenhagen and the Centre for African Studies. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Human & Development Geography from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Geographic Information Systems from the same institution.
