Getinet Kebede

Getinet Kebede is a humanitarian program manager with 19 years of experience in food security, livelihoods, and disaster risk management across the African region. Currently, they serve as the Senior Humanitarian Program Manager at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp, where they lead and coordinate humanitarian efforts focused on vulnerable communities. Previously, Getinet has held positions such as Food Security and Livelihoods Program Manager and Head of Department at Action Contre la Faim, managing projects that address various humanitarian crises. Getinet holds a Master’s degree in Food Security Studies from Addis Ababa University and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Extension from Haramaya University, along with a diploma in General Agriculture from Mersa Agriculture College.
