Mai Gad

Mai Gad is the Acting Head of Unit for Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilization at DanChurchAid, where they lead a team focused on fostering partnerships and mobilizing resources for humanitarian interventions worldwide. With over 8 years of professional experience in the humanitarian and development sectors, Mai has spent more than 6 years in South Sudan and Uganda, specializing in program cycle management, fundraising, and donor compliance. They have a background in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning, and have developed guidelines and tools that adhere to international donor requirements. Mai holds both a BSc and MSc in Sociology from Copenhagen University, further enhancing their extensive expertise in leadership, communication, and capacity development.
