Aditya Jain

Aditya Jain is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Dandy since June 2025, specializing in 3D Deep Learning. Previously, Aditya worked at Path Robotics as a Computer Vision Engineer, focusing on robotic manipulation and assembly through imitation learning, world models for manufacturing, and bin picking tasks involving object detection. As a Robotics Research Engineer at Dorabot, Aditya led a team in developing a robotic pick & place solution for logistics facilities. Experience also includes a role as a Research Engineer at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where Aditya designed an arthrometer mechanism and implemented statistical tools for surgical studies. At Columbia University, contributions involved learning-based contact reasoning and grasping techniques in the ROAM Lab. Aditya's early research experiences include developing a flexible bionic manipulator and an energy-efficient knee orthotic device at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Aditya holds a Master of Science in Robotics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
