Alec Tiefenthal

Alec Tiefenthal is a Senior 3D/CAD Engineer at Dandy since May 2024, with a strong background in engineering and software development. Prior to Dandy, Alec held various roles at Path Robotics from May 2019 to May 2024, including Staff Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on high-speed algorithm development using CUDA and architectural design of complex software systems. At Ampacet Corporation, Alec worked as a Software Development Engineer from June 2017 to May 2019, contributing to innovation by developing a mobile/web application. Alec’s early experience includes internships at Battelle, where skills in algorithm development and software design were honed, as well as a Software Developer position at Cube4, where software for a web application addressing the Affordable Care Act was created. Alec holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Software Engineering and Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, completed in 2017.
