Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in strategic financial planning and corporate development. Currently serving in a finance role at Dandy since January 2022, Andrew previously held key positions at Abcam from October 2010 to January 2022, including Vice President of FP&A and Strategic Programmes and Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and M&A, where significant achievements included building strategic transformation initiatives, managing substantial capital deployment, and fostering partnerships with top executives. Earlier roles include Senior Equity Research Analyst at Investec, where Andrew was recognized as a top-rated UK Healthcare analyst, and positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing audit and risk assurance services. A graduate of the University of York with a Master's in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor’s in Biology, Andrew also started a career as a data analyst/software developer at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute.
