Navid Samavati

Navid Samavati, PhD, is the Director of Machine Learning at Dandy, where they utilize their extensive expertise in AI and machine learning. With a rich background in signal and image processing, biomechanical modeling, and medical imaging applications, Navid has accumulated five years of industry experience focused on deep learning strategies. Previously, they held positions such as Machine Learning R&D Manager at iSono Health and Director of Machine Learning at OVERJET. Navid completed their Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Toronto and holds a Master's degree from McMaster University, demonstrating a strong academic foundation complemented by numerous publications in interdisciplinary research.
