Peng Wang

Peng Wang is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Dandy since October 2025. Previously, Peng held various key positions, including Head of Applied Research at Patronus AI, where responsibilities involved AI benchmarking and evaluation, and Director of Research at Grammarly, leading the development of advanced AI and NLP algorithms. Prior to those roles, Peng was a Senior Director at AlphaSense, overseeing distributed AI and Search engineering teams, and built the AI research team that focused on advanced algorithms for information extraction and insights. Peng's extensive experience also includes senior roles at Google, Siemens, and academic research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Peng holds a Ph.D. in Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and additional degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
