Ben Jones

Ben Jones is a Judge at the Dane County Circuit Court, a position held since 2025. They previously served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction from 2017 to 2019 and worked as an Attorney at Weld Riley, S.C. from 2012 to 2017. Ben also held the role of Director of Legislative and Legal Affairs for the Chippewa Valley Society for Human Resource Management from 2014 to 2017 and was a Board Member for the American Red Cross in Northwest Wisconsin during the same period. Ben earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
