Claus Borum

Claus Borum has extensive work experience in various technology companies. Claus is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Danelec Marine A/S since September 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President - Head of R&D at TrackMan from September 2017 to August 2021. Claus also served as the Vice President, Head of Software Development at Widex in June 2017. Before that, Claus held the position of Senior Vice President R&D, SatLink Manufacturing and Support at Emerging Markets Communications from September 2014 to May 2017. Claus was the Director, Land/Marine Satcom Systems R&D at Cobham SATCOM from June 2012 to August 2014. Claus started their career at Thrane & Thrane in August 1999 and held various roles including Director, Land/Marine SatCom Systems R&D, Project Manager, R&D, System Architect, SatCom terminals, R&D, and RF Hardware Designer, R&D.

Claus Borum completed their Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication at Aalborg University from 1994 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business Administration at Copenhagen University College of Engineering from 2002 to 2004.
