John McDonald

John McDonald is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and strategy, currently serving as the Senior Advisor of Operations and Strategy at Danella Companies since February 2024. McDonald has held various leadership roles, including retired COO and Senior Vice President at PECO until February 2024, and Vice President of Integration at Pepco Holdings from March 2016 to April 2018. McDonald’s expertise in technology services was honed during a decade at Exelon, where contributions were made as Vice President of Tech Services, focusing on smart grid and smart meter initiatives. In addition to corporate roles, McDonald actively participates on the boards of Project HOME and BLOCS, advocating for educational opportunities for low-income students. McDonald earned an MBA in Business Administration from Drexel University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution.
