Carsten Christensen is a Senior Technology Specialist at Danfoss since February 2023 and has been an Affiliated External Examiner at Technical University of Denmark since 2002. Prior to this, Carsten held the position of Development Engineer at Grundfos Management A/S from January 2012 to January 2023, focusing on product development in sensor technology, and at Grundfos Sensor A/S from October 2000 to December 2011, specializing in pressure sensor wafer development in Silicon MEMS technology. Carsten's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in MEMS from the Technical University of Denmark (1995-1998) and an M.Sc. in Physics with a focus on semiconductors from Aarhus University (1985-1992), supplemented by a foundational education at Viborg Amts Gymnasium (1981-1984). Prior to his industrial roles, Carsten worked as a Post Doc at DTU Nanotech from January 1999 to September 2000.
