Detlef Matzen

Detlef Matzen is an experienced professional in engineering design, product development, and innovation, currently serving as a Member of The Board of Advisors for the Master in Management of Technology at Syddansk Universitet since August 2022. Since August 2009, Detlef has been an External Examiner for university engineering degrees in Denmark, focusing on product development and engineering design at DTU. In the role of Senior Manager at Danfoss since November 2011, Detlef leads teams across two locations, driving the green transition through innovative solutions in AC, cold chain, heat pump, and EV thermal management applications. Detlef's background includes multiple leadership positions in new product development, significant responsibilities in university teaching, and a Ph.D. in service-oriented product development from DTU.
