Cassi Waren

Cassi Waren, CPRP, is currently the Director of Parks and Recreation at The City of Dania Beach, Florida. From 2021 to 2024, they served as the Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation in the same city. Cassi has held various roles in the field, including Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation and Superintendent of Community Events at the City of Deerfield Beach, where they planned large-scale special events. They possess a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University. Cassi has extensive experience in managing special events and coordinating recreational programs across multiple organizations.
