Mette Løvgren

Mette Lagerstam is a skilled producer and educator with extensive experience in film and fine arts. Currently serving as a Producer at Kansallinen audiovisuaalinen instituutti KAVI and a Fine Art Teacher at Tuusulan kuvataidekoulu, Mette coordinates educational initiatives for 8th graders while teaching fine art and media to students aged 7 to 19. As an Entrepreneur at Elokuvatoimisto Brutus ja mä since 2017, Mette has focused on film education and production. Previously, Mette held the position of Executive Director at IhmeFilmi ry, managing the CinEd project and various film workshops. With a Master’s Degree in Film and Television Production from Taideteollinen korkeakoulu, Mette also holds a Teacher's pedagogical qualification from Hämeen ammattikorkeakoulu and is currently pursuing further education at Tampere University of Applied Sciences in screenwriting. Past experience includes freelance videography and a role as Production Manager with Sydänfilmi Oy.
