Oscar Rothstein

Undersøgende Journalist / Investigative Journalist at Danwatch

Oscar Rothstein is an investigative journalist with a focus on the Danish presence in Africa and its socio-environmental impacts, currently contributing to Danwatch since April 2021. In addition, Oscar serves as an author, with "Det lysende hjerte," a collection of essays exploring Africa's history and contemporary issues through the lens of football, published under Gyldendal beginning January 2024. Oscar is also a member of the Ethics Committee for the Danish Football Federation since August 2022, advising on ethical matters. In March 2022, Oscar joined the Editorial Committee at Det Udenrigspolitiske Selskab. Previous experience includes a journalistic role at Zetland from February 2018 to January 2021. Oscar holds a master’s degree in Ideology History from Aarhus University, completed in June 2020.
