Nicolas Amelon has a diverse work experience. In 2010, they worked as an Enseignant contractuel at Université de Nantes. Nicolas then moved on to work at ALTEN as a Consultant from 2012 to 2013. Following that, they joined Alstom Power puis GE as an ingénieur de conception des convertisseurs statiques from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined JEUMONT Electric, where they worked in R&D HV Converters. Currently, they are a Power electronics engineer at Daphne Technology, starting in 2023.
Nicolas Amelon's education history begins in 2000 when they attended lycée La Fayette in Clermont Ferrand and earned a BTS degree in génie électrique in 2002. Nicolas then went on to Polytech Nantes from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in ingénieur in génie électrique. In 2006, they pursued further education at Polytech Nantes, completing a master recherche in génie électrique. Finally, Nicolas enrolled at Nantes Université in 2006 and completed their education there in 2010, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in génie électrique.
