Dev Chopra

Dev Chopra has a diverse work experience. Dev is currently the Chief Executive Officer of DAPPA, a daily fashion app that provides personalized fashion recommendations. Prior to this, they co-founded The Tech Connection, a non-profit organization that connects students with industry professionals in STEM. Dev has also worked as a Data Analyst at EG Group and held various roles at Cumberland High School, including Prefect, Interface Team Member, and Science Inspire Team Leader. Additionally, they have been involved in projects such as serving as an Iris Conference Presenter at the University of York and participating in the Metro Minds STEAM Challenge, where they secured second place. Dev has also gained valuable work experience through placements at Gridware Cybersecurity, Macquarie University, and CSIRO, where they got a glimpse of their work in cybersecurity.

Dev Chopra completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UNSW from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they attended Cumberland High School from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Higher School Certificate. During their time at UNSW in 2019, Dev also completed two high school computing courses: Introduction to Programming in C (HS1917) and Intro to Cyber Security and Security Engineering (HS1953). In 2017, Dev participated in the ConcoPhillips Science Experience program at the University of Technology Sydney. Additionally, in 2020, they attended the NCSS (National Computer Science School).
