Evan Leach has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Evan started their career as a Customer Service representative at Billingsgate Deli, where they were responsible for preparing proposals and invoices, as well as daily accounting. In 2008, they worked as an Intern at CHI Engineering Inc, where they learned about ASME standards and codes, collaborated with town offices for scheduling and restrictions on job sites, and assisted in the fabrication of LNG vaporizers.

From 2009 to 2011, Evan worked at CCOM/JHC, first as a Controls Engineer and later as a Research and Engineering Assistant. As a Controls Engineer, they led the development of electrical systems for an excavation robot using circuitry and advanced control systems. Evan also developed software to wirelessly control the robot using C# language along with Arduino and Processing. As a Research and Engineering Assistant, Evan led a team of three undergraduate Mechanical Engineers in the development of research buoys. Evan fabricated buoys and testing apparatuses, wrote buoy protocols using Code Warrior and low level DOS coding, and designed a robust data parsing and analysis Matlab script.

In 2011, Evan joined Aavid Thermalloy as a Product Engineer, where they worked until 2013. During their time there, they contributed to product development and engineering processes.

From 2013 to 2018, Evan worked as a Design Engineer at Summit Packaging Solutions, LLC. In this role, they played a vital part in the design and development of packaging solutions.

Most recently, Evan has been working at DAPR Engineering, LLC. Evan started as a Control Engineer in 2018 and was promoted to Controls Engineering Supervisor in January 2021. As a Controls Engineering Supervisor, Evan oversees the operations and activities of the controls engineering team.
