Assel A.

Assel A. has a strong background in accounting and finance. They started their career as an Accountant at Ada Oil LLP in 2007 and worked there until 2009. They then joined Kcell JSC in 2009 and held various roles including Senior Accountant, Assets team supervisor, and ultimately, Head of Accounting. At Kcell JSC, they were responsible for managing finance services, ensuring timely and accurate recording of business transactions, and coordinating month-end closing processes. In 2011, Assel A. joined Ward Howell International as a Chief Accountant, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they gained experience in managing financial processes. Currently, Assel A. serves as the Chief Accountant at DAR, where they are responsible for the development, management, and monitoring of various processes, including HR, accounting, tax, legal, procurement, and administrative processes. They also handle financial flows, budgets, and the preparation of monthly financial statements for international subsidiaries.

Assel A. completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Audit from Mezhdunarodnaya Akademiya Biznesa from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Specialist degree in International Relations from Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Assel A. obtained a certification in "Управление личными финансами" (Personal Finance Management) from Coursera in January 2019.
