Dar Society was founded on a simple belief: that travel should reconnect people to culture, beauty and meaning.

Born between Paris and Marrakech, the group first emerged through gatherings that brought together creative communities around food, art, design and shared experiences. What began as a cultural movement rooted in hospitality has, in less than two years, evolved into one of Marrakech’s most inspiring new lifestyle hospitality platforms.

At a time when global travel is shifting away from standardized luxury toward intimacy, authenticity and emotional connection, Dar Society is building a new model of hospitality from the heart of Morocco.

The group develops hospitality destinations, gastronomic concepts, wellness retreats and cultural spaces designed around the art of gathering and contemporary Moroccan living.

Founded by Laila Skalli, Réda Berrehili and Javier Cedillo-Espin, Dar Society combines backgrounds across culture, hospitality, design, entrepreneurship and international creative industries. Together, the founders share a common vision: to create places that feel deeply rooted in Morocco while remaining open to the world.

Their ambition is not simply to build hotels or restaurants, but to shape meaningful destinations where travel becomes an experience of connection, transmission and discovery.
