Chris Houser has over 10 years of experience in security analysis. Chris began their career in 2007 as a Security Analyst at igxglobal, where they performed onsite and remote assessments, developed recommendations based on findings, created comprehensive reports, and assisted in mitigating vulnerabilities. In 2014, they joined Dara Security as a Security Analyst.

Chris Houser obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology from Georgia Southern University between 2001 and 2006. Chris then went on to obtain a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification from Cisco Systems in November of 2008, as well as a CASS (Certified Application Security Specialist) certification from IACRB in July of 2008. In 2011, they obtained a GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester) certification from Global Information Assurance Certification in November, and in 2013, they obtained a GXPN (GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester) certification from Global Information Assurance Certification in January. In 2015, they obtained a GWAPT (GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester) certification from Global Information Assurance Certification in February, and in 2016, they obtained a GMOB (GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst) certification from Global Information Assurance Certification in March. Finally, in 2021, they obtained a CCPT (Certified Cloud Penetration Tester) certification from IACRB in July.
