Luke Pattison

Luke Pattison has a diverse work experience in the risk and power operations industry. Luke currently holds the position of Director of Risk and Power Operations at Dare since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Risk Director at Dare from June 2021 to November 2021. Before joining Dare, Luke worked at SmartestEnergy as the Head of Market Risk from December 2017 to May 2021. Luke also held the roles of Trading Risk Manager from June 2015 to November 2017 and Risk Development Manager from November 2013 to June 2015 at SmartestEnergy. Luke's previous experience includes working as a Commercial Manager, Structuring and Risk at Hudson Energy from May 2012 to November 2013. Luke also worked as a Lodge & Rental Car Manager at Black Diamond Lodge from November 2010 to April 2012. Luke started their career at RWE npower, where they held the position of Senior Structurer from September 2008 to November 2010. Luke also worked as a Graduate at RWE npower from September 2008 to March 2009, and at RWE AG from August 2009 to September 2009. Luke's earliest work experience includes working as a Graduate at RWE Supply & Trading from April 2009 to August 2009, and as a Manager & Trainer at NOVA from September 2003 to September 2007.

Luke Pattison completed their undergraduate degree in BA Economics (Hons) with a focus on Mathematics and Economics from London Guildhall University from 2000 to 2003. Luke then pursued further education and obtained an MSc degree in Quantitative Finance from Cass Business School from 2007 to 2008.
