Rui Mendes

Rui Mendes is the Head of Growth at DareData, where they have been leading efforts since 2025. Rui co-founded both Ripply and Data Makers Fest, contributing significantly to the tech community, while also serving as the Executive Director of Ripply. They co-founded World Data League, where they held the role of Head of Finance and Corporate Partnerships from 2020 to 2023. Rui’s educational background includes a Master in Information Systems from the University of Aveiro and a Bachelor in Applied Mathematics from Lusíada University of Oporto. Currently, they serve as Coordinator and Instructor at Porto Business School, shaping the curriculum and enhancing student learning experiences.
