Dare IT is a social business that encourages and supports women to start and develop their career in the tech industry. We want to build an inclusive tech world so that technology is built for and serves everyone and not just a selected few.

As part of our business we run a mentorship program, where participants can explore and acquire knowledge in the area of their choice: User Experience Design (UX), User Interface & Visual Design (UI), Web Development, Data Science, Project Management, Digital Marketing and many other. Women are supported by mentors who work in various positions within the tech industry on an ongoing basis.

At Dare IT we believe that women should play a major role in the tech industry, and not be confined to a minority. To close the gender gap, we aim to make women in tech industry more visible so that other girls & women can visualize themselves in similar roles more easily.

The Program Management and Challenges Team at DareIT is responsible for designing, organizing, and managing mentorship programs and skill-based challenges that empower women to enter and thrive in the tech industry. This includes overseeing the UX Portfolio Challenge and other DARE IT Challenges, ensuring participants receive guidance and support from experienced mentors across various tech disciplines. The team aims to close the gender gap in tech by making women more visible and encouraging them to visualize themselves in similar roles.
