Dave Cooper

Dave Cooper has extensive work experience in human resources, spanning over multiple companies and roles. Dave began their career at Basic American Foods in 1998 as a Shift Coordinator. Dave then moved on to J.R. Simplot Company, where they served as a Human Resources Administrator and later as a Human Resources Manager. During their time at Simplot, they successfully managed union contract negotiations and implemented a new payroll system. In 2006, Dave returned to Basic American Foods as a Regional Human Resources Manager, overseeing HR operations at multiple plants and managing an anti-union campaign. In 2014, they joined Lamb Weston as a Human Resources Manager, responsible for overseeing non-union manufacturing plants and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. In this role, they also led negotiations and developed HR professionals within the company. Dave's most recent position is with Darigold as a Human Resources Business Partner II, where they foster a positive environment, addresses employee relations issues, and coaches managers on resolving issues. Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated HR knowledge, leadership skills, and a focus on employee development and engagement.
