Blake Gibson

Blake Gibson has over 20 years of work experience, with a focus on technology, law, and business. Currently, they serve as the EVP (Head of Product) and General Counsel at Dark Matter Technologies, where they lead product teams and oversees legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Black Knight, a leading provider of mortgage technology and data. During their time at Black Knight, they played a crucial role in acquiring multiple technology companies and supported innovation projects related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain. Before joining Black Knight, Gibson worked at Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS) as Division Counsel and Counsel in Contracts and Intellectual Property. Blake also worked as an attorney at Pietrangelo Cook PLC and as an entrepreneur, providing IT support and brokering technological services. Gibson started their career as a Software Engineer at Greenware, Inc.

Blake Gibson earned a J.D. degree with a concentration in business and tax from The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Blake also obtained certifications in Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education and in Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets from Wharton Online, both in 2022.
