Jon Smithson

Jon Smithson is an accomplished product manager with extensive experience in the financial services and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Origination Technologies Product Manager at Dark Matter Technologies since September 2023, Jon has previously held various positions at Black Knight, including Product Manager and Originations Product Manager from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, Jon worked as a Bank Operations Manager at State Farm Bank and as a Business Consultant at Lender Processing Services, Inc. Jon’s leadership experience also includes roles as Vice President at Aurora Bank FSB and Aurora Loan Services, and Vice President of Sales at Nexstar Financial Corporation. Jon began a career in sales as a Sales Manager at Citimortgage from 1988 to 2001. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southeast Missouri State University.
