Sandy Ring

Sandy Ring has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1998, Sandy worked as a Technologist for the Central Intelligence Agency until 2002. Following this, Sandy joined SYTEX as the Deputy Director of Research, where they led a team focused on developing computer and network security technologies. In 2003, Sandy founded Pikewerks and served as the President, overseeing all aspects of company establishment and growth. The company was later acquired by Raytheon in 2011, and Sandy continued serving as President until 2013. From 2016 to 2020, Sandy took a break from technology and volunteered as a Career Closet Volunteer/Coordinator at Homeward Alliance, a nonprofit providing services to homeless individuals and families. Currently, Sandy is the Co-Founder and President of Dark Sky Technology, a position held since 2021.

Sandy Ring attended The University of Alabama from 1992 to 1997. However, no information is available regarding the degree or field of study pursued during this period.
