Theo Chapman has a diverse work experience. In 2008, they founded Chapman Custom Lacrosse Sticks, a business they started out of their bedroom in middle school. Theo had a working relationship with lacrosse stick, string, and mesh manufacturers and customized sticks locally and retailed their own creations online. In 2014, they worked as a Social Fellow for Boston College, where they worked on best practices, content creation, and strategic direction for the Public Affairs office. In 2015, Theo was a Student Fellow for .406 Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, where they provided deal flow sourcing and analysis. That same year, they co-founded pstcrd LLC, a mobile app for merit-based Instagram discovery, which was part of the 2015 SSC Accelerator in Boston and had 10k+ downloads. In 2016, they worked in Operational Marketing for Saint Laurent, where they worked on everything from per-SKU forecast modeling to in-store product presentation. Theo'ssummer project focused on turning around a 4-year sales plateau with the flagship product and their findings were presented to the President and shared with the US workforce. Finally, in 2017, Theo became the Cofounder and CEO of Darkroom.
Theo Chapman attended Cretin-Derham Hall from 2009 to 2013, and then went on to earn a degree in Entrepreneurship & Marketing from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College from 2013 to 2017.
