Dena McGuiggan

Dena McGuiggan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1993, they owned and operated their own business, Patry Time Catering, until 1998. Dena then worked as a Summer Camp Director and School Bus Monitor at the U.S. Embassy and Consulates from 1996 to 1998. In 1998, they became a Superamerica Shift Lead at Speedway Superamerica Store.

Dena'scareer then transitioned to the field of intelligence and analysis. From 1998 to 2012, they served in various roles as a Cryptologic Linguist and Language Mentor/Trainer (Arabic) in the US Navy.

In 2012, they joined Leidos as a Senior Irregular Warfare Analyst, DOMEX Analyst, and Threat Finance Analyst. In 2015, they became a Cyber Counter-IED Analysis Team Lead at GS5, LLC, and in 2016, they worked as a PAI Researcher and Trainer at White Canvas Group, LLC.

In 2017, they held two roles simultaneously: OSINT/PAI Subject Matter Expert at DarkStar Intelligence and Cyber Security/IA Policy Analyst at Invictus International Consulting, LLC. At DarkStar Intelligence, they later became a Human Resources Specialist from 2021 to 2022, then Director of Recruiting from 2022 to 2023, and currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources and Recruiting. Dena'slast known role was with Invictus International Consulting, LLC as a Cyber Security/IA Policy Analyst from 2017 to 2021. This diverse range of experiences showcases their wide skill set and extensive expertise in various domains.

Dena McGuiggan has a diverse educational background. In 1999, they attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, where they studied French, specifically French Studies. In 2001, they pursued their Associate's degree in General Studies at Georgia Military College-Augusta Campus, completing it in 2002.

In 2012, Dena enrolled at the University of Phoenix and studied Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. Although their degree name is unspecified, they completed their studies in 2014.

Later, in 2015, they attended Strayer University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, finalizing their education in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Dena McGuiggan has also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they earned a certification in Cyber Advanced Support Operations (CASO) from White Canvas Group, LLC. In 2018, they obtained a Certified Authorization Professional certification from ISC2, and most recently, in 2023, they achieved a certification in Governance, Risk and Compliance from (ISC)².
