Ashanka Iddya

Ashanka Iddya is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in product marketing and strategic growth within the technology and cybersecurity sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Director, Product Marketing Manager for Platform XDR at Darktrace since May 2024, Ashanka previously held multiple strategic roles at Microsoft from July 2011 to May 2024, including Director of Security Compliance & Identity Marketing and Director of Business Development & Strategic Growth for Security. Additionally, Ashanka developed global product and marketing strategies for Microsoft 365 Business, focusing on SMB customers. Earlier experience includes roles at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business as an MBA Candidate, along with marketing and consulting positions at leading companies such as Monsanto and Honeywell Automation. Ashanka holds an MBA in Accounting and Marketing from Duke University and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
