Colin Gardiner

Colin Gardiner is a Specialist Software Engineer at Darktrace, where responsibilities include the maintenance and delivery of core functionality within Internal Systems utilizing Laravel and Python. Prior to this role, Colin worked as a Software Engineer in the Internal Systems team, developing NodeJS and Laravel/PHP applications with a Vue frontend. Experience includes a stint at Digital Futures, participating in a Modern Software Engineering cohort, and roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London and a Summer Research Student at the University of Leeds. Colin holds an MPhil in Mathematics from Imperial College London, as well as an MRes in Fluid Dynamics and a Master of Mathematics, and has expertise in a diverse technology stack, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and Sequelize ORM.
