Daniel Simonds

Daniel Simonds serves as the Director of Operational Technology, Strategic Accounts at Darktrace, a position held since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading market strategy for the Darktrace/OT platform and collaborating with various global teams. Previously, Simonds was the Commercial Director for OT/ICS, focusing on industrial security for critical infrastructure. Daniel's experience also encompasses cybersecurity research, with a role as a Cybersecurity Research Analyst at the Global TechnoPolitics Forum, where publications addressed critical infrastructure cybersecurity issues. Earlier, Simonds worked as a Research Analyst at the USC Intelligence Community Center, conducting research on disinformation campaigns during the COVID-19 pandemic. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Human Security and Geospatial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs, both obtained from the University of Southern California.
