Michael Beck

Michael Beck is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within both private and public sectors. As the Global Chief Information Security Officer and Global Head of Threat Analysis at Darktrace since February 2014, Michael has played a key role in advancing the company's innovative technologies, including Autonomous Response, which leverages self-learning AI to protect organizations from diverse threats. Prior to Darktrace, Michael served as a Cyber Security Consultant for the UK Government from March 2010 to February 2014, and held positions including Deployed Operations Advisor at the UK Ministry of Defence and Software Engineer within the UK Government. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing Science from the University of Plymouth.
