Tanya Monteith

Tanya Monteith currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Darktrace since October 2023 and is a Founding Member of the Internal Audit Collective since January 2025. Previously, Tanya held the position of Head of Internal Audit at Abcam from February 2020 to October 2023, where responsibilities included developing a risk-based audit plan and implementing a US SOX testing program. A background in internal audit includes roles at Arm, Spearhead International Ltd, Cambridge City Council, Turners (Soham) Ltd, and Price Bailey LLP, accumulating extensive experience in risk assessments, compliance, IT audits, and international operations across multiple countries. Tanya's career began as an Accounts Assistant at George Hay Chartered Accountants in 1995.
