Nick Hamlin currently serves as the Director of Data Strategy and Innovation at DARO since January 2025. Previously, Nick spent nearly 13 years at GlobalGiving, culminating in the role of Director of Data Science and Analytics, where significant contributions included establishing a data science function, modernizing data infrastructure, and leading a team that improved operational processes. Nick’s career also includes roles at DataKind as a Data Ambassador, Root Change as a Software Developer/Data Scientist Contractor, and PTC as a Reliability Consulting Engineer, alongside early involvement in international non-profit efforts through Cameroon Football Development Program. Holding a Master's degree in Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley and a dual Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and European History from the University of Rochester, Nick combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to social impact.
