Sean Frederick

Sean Frederick is a distinguished professional currently serving as a Service Chiefs Fellow at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since July 2025. Prior to this role, Sean held key positions within the United States Space Force as both a Speechwriter and Strategist to the Chief of Space Operations from July 2023 to July 2025. Sean also completed the Chief of Space Operations Fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School while earning a Master of Public Administration degree. Previous experience includes leadership roles at the National Reconnaissance Office, where Sean was Deputy Director of the Orbital Defense Group overseeing a $1.8 billion space protection portfolio, and at Space Systems Command, where Sean served as Chief of the Systems Integration Segment managing significant SATCOM capabilities. Additional expertise includes strategic communications and project management at the Air Force Research Laboratory, and an academic background featuring degrees from the University of Liverpool and University of Portland.
