Yuval Gitlitz

Yuval Gitlitz is a senior lecturer at DART, specializing in advanced courses on Android internals and malware reverse engineering since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a researcher at Savvy and a teaching assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where Gitlitz received an impressive teaching survey score of 4.8/5. Gitlitz held positions as a security researcher at Wintego, where employment ended due to division closure, and as a security research tech lead at Epica Technologies, leading a team focused on Chrome web browser vulnerabilities. Early experience encompasses embedded security research at Convexum and software development and security research for the Israeli Military Intelligence, where Gitlitz implemented a complex exploit for an ARM-based embedded system. Academic achievements include a PhD in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, along with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
