Kent Chivers

Kent Chivers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Project Analyst at KAIROS, Inc. since October 2017, Kent also supervises Human Factors Engineering at Areva Inc. since January 2008. Prior to that, Kent worked as an Electrical Systems Engineer at DC Cook Nuclear Plant from January 1999 to January 2008 and held the position of Principal Engineer at AREVA NP from 2008 to 2016. Kent contributes to drone education as a Drone Ground School Instructor at DARTdrones since October 2016. Kent's career in the US Navy spanned from 1986 to March 1994, culminating as a Reactor Operator on submarines and Chief Petty Officer in the Naval Reserve, with a significant deployment in Afghanistan during 2010-2011.
