Peter Bertone

Peter Bertone is currently a Venture Fellow at Borealis Ventures and a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering & Surgical Innovation at Dartmouth College, focusing on technology innovations for orthopaedic reconstruction. Prior experience includes roles as a Venture Fellow at .406 Ventures and as an Investment Partner at Venture Lab, where Peter contributed to the Penn-Wharton Innovation Fund. Peter has conducted research in medical device development, specifically creating a device for Pelvic Organ Prolapse, while also serving as a PCI Fellow, advising startups in the NSF iCorps program. Previous research positions at Colgate University involved analyzing leukocyte data and local water quality, contributing to a strong foundation in scientific research. Peter holds a B.A. in Physics from Colgate University, and both an M.S.E in Biomedical Engineering and a Certificate in Engineering Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania.
