Ryan Halter is an accomplished biomedical engineer with extensive academic and entrepreneurial experience. Currently serving as the Biomedical Program Area Lead and Associate Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College since July 2008, Ryan has progressed through various academic positions from Assistant Professor to Research Assistant Professor. In addition to academic roles, Ryan is the founder of RyTek Medical Inc., which focuses on bioimpedance-based clinical technologies. Ryan also co-founded AssurTek Surgical, targeting the dental implant market with innovative surgical tools, and launched SynchroHealth, which develops health monitoring technologies. Furthermore, Ryan co-founded Multivariate Systems, Inc., dedicated to advanced detection of internal hemorrhage. Ryan holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Dartmouth College, as well as an MS in Engineering Mechanics and a BS in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Penn State University.
