Simone McInerney

Simone McInerney is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations. Currently, as the Head of People and Culture at Darwin Port, Simone manages the complete human resource lifecycle for the organization. Previously, Simone served as an Executive HR Manager at St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. for a decade, where they oversaw various human resource functions and partnered with the executive team to implement strategic goals. Prior roles include the People and Customer Manager at the City of Palmerston and Workplace Relations Advisor at the Chamber of Commerce NT. Simone began their career in Industrial Relations and holds several degrees, including an Associate Diploma in Business HR/IR from the University of South Australia.
