Darwin Technology International is a research and development company specialising in innovative electronic air purification technologies, licensed to leading global manufacturers, with its headquarters in the UK.

The company’s most widely deployed technology to date is ifD, an advanced electronic air purification platform that delivers HEPA-level efficiency with extremely low pressure drop and a permanent, washable filter. This has enabled high-efficiency air cleaning in applications where traditional filtration approaches are impractical.

ifD has been commercialised globally by leading brands including Honeywell, Trane, American Standard, Panasonic, Carrier, Haier, Gree and Hisense across HVAC systems, consumer air purification and other specialist applications.

Building on this foundation, Darwin has developed Kobros®, a next-generation air purification platform designed to maintain high efficiency filtration over extended operating periods with virtually no maintenance required and no replacement filters.

Kobros combines high particle capture efficiency with very low pressure drop and exceptional loading capacity, enabling consistent clean air delivery (CADR) over time. This makes it particularly well suited to modern HVAC systems and other air-moving appliances where long-term performance, energy efficiency and ease of integration are critical.

Darwin is actively engaging with manufacturers evaluating next-generation air treatment technologies across a wide range of applications.

If you are exploring high efficiency air purification solutions and would value the opportunity to be one of the first to define this next standard in integrated air purification, we welcome confidential enquiries at information@darwintechnology.com
