Irina Munteanu currently serves as the SIMULIA Director of Strategy at Dassault Systèmes since February 2019 and has been a Full Professor and Honorary Professor at Technische Universität Darmstadt since April 2008. Munteanu also held various roles, including Manager of Strategic Projects and Cooperations, as well as (Sr) Sales and Application Engineer, focusing on technical application development and customer consulting. Munteanu started an academic career as an Associate Professor, Lecturer, and Teaching Assistant at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 1989 to 2001 and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
