Simon ROYER

Simon Royer served as the CATIA Electronics R&D and Strategy Director at Dassault Systèmes from 2002 to 2017. Previously, they held positions as a Software Engineer and Team Leader, focusing on mathematical solvers and geometric operators, as well as overseeing topological operators in geometric modeling. Simon also worked as the CATIA Electrical and Fluidics Engineering R&D Director in 2011 and managed CATIA 3D Electrical products earlier that same year. Their technical background includes serving as a Software Engineer at Berkeley Lab, where they developed netlist software and computed parasitic impedance in ICs. Simon holds a degree in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence from École centrale de Paris, which they attended from 1990 to 1993.
