Thomas Sickel is an experienced engineering professional specializing in antenna design and microwave engineering. Currently serving as the EMAG Antenna Design R&D Technology Senior Manager at Dassault Systèmes since April 2018, Thomas also held the position of EMAG Antenna Design R&D Development Senior Manager. In addition, Thomas has been Lead Antenna Engineer at Magus (Pty) Ltd since July 2007 and was a Post Doctoral researcher at the University of Stellenbosch from January 2006 to June 2007, focusing on thermal analysis and transient modeling of PIN diodes and mm-wave thermal imaging. Thomas holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Microwave Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Stellenbosch University.
