Vishnu A. has a long and varied work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Vishnu began their career in 1997 as a Project Engineer at DAT ENGINEERS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. In 2002, they joined Skanska as a Lead Project Engineer and was responsible for overseeing team operations and safety planning for a $16 million budget project on an active railroad. Vishnu also served as Construction Technology Lead on the Statoil-Fornebu Office Building, IT Fornebu project, where they researched available technologies across various industries to be used/applied to construction use cases. In addition, they were a Project Controls Engineer on the March Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade project and a Project Engineer on the University of Maryland, Camille Kendall Center project. Vishnu also served as a Construction Estimator and Field/Office Engineer on various projects in and around Washington DC. In 2013, Vishnu A. became Co-Founder of dat Mobile Solutions, Inc. where they led the vision for developing the SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) App. Vishnu was responsible for product management, customer relations, marketing, sales, and business development.
Vishnu A. holds a Master's Degree in Construction Management from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering. Vishnu also holds certifications from EnviroCert International, Inc. (CESSWI), Microsoft (Microsoft Certified Professional - VB5), and Scrum Alliance (Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Onwer).
