Steven Whitfield

Steven Whitfield has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and intelligence analysis. Steven started their career as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Marine Corps in 2013, where they were responsible for research, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence products. Steven then served as a Senior Analyst, leading a team of 10 and conducting risk assessments and threat analysis.

In 2018, Steven joined Microsoft as an Information Security Apprentice, obtaining certifications and gaining knowledge in various aspects of cybersecurity. Steven then moved on to Perspecta as a Senior Information Assurance Analyst, where they provided risk analysis, incident response, and network monitoring for classified military networks.

Currently, Steven works at Data Axle as the Director of Security, overseeing security operations and ensuring the protection of company assets. Steven'svast experience in the industry and their expertise in information security make him a valuable asset to any organization.

Steven Whitfield obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security from Bellevue University, where they studied from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained another Bachelor's degree in Technical Management with an emphasis on Cyber Security from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. In addition to their degrees, Steven has also obtained several certifications, including FEMA IS-00523 Resilient Accord - Exercising Continuity Plans for Cyber Incidents from FEMA in January 2018, MTA Security Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2017, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in July 2018, and (ISC)2 System Security Certified Professional from (ISC)² in March 2018.
